Connect Zoho Mail

Works for any custom domain on Zoho Mail (Free, Lite, Premium, or Workplace).

Using Gmail or Microsoft 365 instead? Connect via OAuth at Settings → Integrations — one click, no app password. This guide covers Zoho Mail, which doesn't support OAuth in SAIDR yet.

1 · Turn on two-factor authentication

Go to accounts.zoho.com/home#security/mfa and enable TFA via OneAuth, SMS, or authenticator.

2 · Generate the app-specific password

    At accounts.zoho.com/home#security/app_passwords, click Generate New Password.

    Label it SAIDR, pick Mail as the app, and click Generate.

    Copy the password immediately — Zoho won't show it again.

3 · Paste into SAIDR

  • SMTP host: smtp.zoho.com (US region) or smtp.zoho.eu / smtp.zoho.in / smtp.zoho.com.au for other regions
  • SMTP port: 587
  • Use TLS: on
  • Username: your full email (you@yourcompany.com)
  • Password: the app password from step 2
Not sure which Zoho region you're on? Sign in to Zoho Mail in a browser — the URL shows it:mail.zoho.com = US, mail.zoho.eu = EU, and so on. Match the SMTP host to the same region.
