Connect Yahoo Mail

Yahoo calls them 'app passwords' too. You'll need 2-step verification on first.

Using Gmail or Microsoft 365 instead? Connect via OAuth at Settings → Integrations — one click, no app password. This guide covers Yahoo Mail, which doesn't support OAuth in SAIDR yet.

1 · Turn on 2-step verification

Open login.yahoo.com/account/security.

Toggle 2-Step Verification on and verify via SMS or authenticator.

2 · Generate the app password

Same page (login.yahoo.com/account/security) → click Generate app password or Manage app passwords.

Pick Other app and name it SAIDR.

Copy the 16-character password.

3 · Paste into SAIDR

SMTP host: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
SMTP port: 587
Use TLS: on
Username: your full Yahoo email
Password: the 16-character app password from step 2

Yahoo has aggressive sending limits on personal accounts (~100 / day). If you plan to send more, move to a workspace provider with a warmed custom domain.
